The Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that over 15,500 dryer related fires occur each year and this number is rising at an alarming rate. In 1996, the result was 20 deaths, 320 injuries and over $84 million in property damage.

Cleaning Process

How we solve your home’s dryer vent lint problem safely and effectively:

Our company uses compressed air and a tool called a "Spinning Reverse Ball". This device shoots air backwards to the dryer vent termination hood, located outside, at 250 psi while pushing itself through the dryer vent. All of the lint is blown outside. The technician collects the lint and disposes of per E.P.A. mandatory compliance.

*Above is our dryer dolly (red) which is used to move your dryer out of the way, without scratching the floors, during the cleaning. The tool to the right (blue) is the tool which is used to clean your dryer vent as shown below.

The flexible vent from the Dryer Unit to the wall must be up to date professional grade flexible metal venting or just non-flexible 30 or 26 gauge metal piping. It is a violation of code to use White Vinyl for dryer venting, plus it is a potential fire hazard. The flexible material from the Dryer Unit to the wall is blown out and cleaned along with the dryer venting. Our special pneumatic tools have the ability to remove all kinds of blockages. Including birds nest's.

*All of our Dryer Exhaust Technicians are C-DET certified.

Don't Let This Happen To You!

This demonstration shows what happens when the highly flammable lint ignites. On the top right you see how flammable and unsafe the White Vinyl is. Can you afford to have it in your home?

In addition to lint build up, improper installation of your vent system can also create a serious hazard. Our technicians can detect such problems as improperly routed vents and vents that are damaged or disconnected. Ensure your family’s safety with a professional inspection & cleaning.

*Improper dryer vents are a much bigger and more common safety problem*

DRYER VENT Installation, Replacement, & Re-Routing

Does your dryer vent exhaust in the Crawlspace?

If so, your crawlspace could look like this! We can clean the lint out of your crawlspace and re-route the dryer vent!

Before crawlspace cleaning and dryer vent re-route             After Crawlspace cleaning and dryer vent re-route

How is your dryer vent routed? Is it up to code?

ABOVE: ^^^FIRE HAZARD??? (this vent needs to be replaced because it is venting into the crawlspace and it consists of white vinyl, which is a code violation)

ABOVE: ^^^HEAT PUMP or A/C FREEZING UP??? (this vent needs to be re-routed. As you can see, it vents right next to this heat pump. The problem is, the lint vents outside, it's sucked up into the condenser coil which causes restriction in the air flow. This can then cause the heat pump, or AC, to freeze up)

ABOVE: ^^^FIRE HAZARD??? (this dryer vent was in violation of code and was replaced. First it was 70ft. long! Indiana state code says you can only run a dryer vent 35 equivalent feet. Equivalent feet means, 2.5ft. of restriction for a 45 degree angle and 5ft. of restriction for a 90 degree angle. Second, its WHITE VINYL; which is also in violation code and a HUGE FIRE HAZARD!
